Why are we passionate about tutoring
According to widely accepted studies, less than 16% of high school students take pre-calculus; about a third do not meet the required basic level of math skills. Only about a third of high school students are qualified to attend a 4-yr college. Even at top-rated doctoral granting public universities, nearly 20% of the total students are enrolled in remedial math. (source: The Education Trust, Washington DC).

According to Louis Gestner, former CEO of IBM, “We are not approaching a crisis; we are in it. Nearly 90% of urban school districts reported an immediate demand for math and science teachers – a quantity problem on top of a quality problem.”
About 40% of math teachers and 20% of science teachers do not have a major in their respective fields.

Unlike teaching in a class of 25 students, our tutor focuses exclusively on your child – and tailors the session to his/her needs. By making private one-on-one tutoring very affordable to American families, we believe students can improve their grades and skills in math and science. OUR TUTORS
Our tutors are highly qualified and trained to work with American students. The tutors have a bachelor or master’s degree in the subject matter, and many of them also have a B Ed. Regardless of their background, each tutor undergoes an intensive training in the art of tutoring, cross-cultural communications, motivation and American diction. Our senior trainers of tutors undergo a certification program from Crossroads Learning whose course is recognized by the National Tutor Association of the US. In addition, all our tutors receive continuous education from experts, including some from America.
